Marie Söderqvist has extensive experience in different parts of the health sector. Most recently, she worked as head of communications and public affairs for WeMind, one of Sweden's largest privately owned psychiatric companies, and before that she was federal director of the Swedish Food Industry Association, where public health issues are central. Prior to that, she founded and was CEO of United Minds, which is an analysis company within the global communications group Weber Shandwick.
She has produced the podcast Hälsa för Ohälsosamma with David Eberhard as host for over three years. She also sits on the board of a Swedish Classic that works on behalf of Vasaloppet, Vätternrundan, Lidingöloppet and Vansbrosimmet. In addition, Marie Söderqvist has a background as an editorial writer and columnist in several major newspapers such as SvD and Expressen to name a few. Marie is also on the board of the Free Enterprise Foundation.
With this experience and background, she contributes to creating breadth and weight in issues that affect everyone, but which traditional party politics finds it strangely difficult to capture and make relevant.
Welcome Marie!
