Report: China wants to dominate Europe's green markets

Mr. Jojje Olsson's latest report for EPHI looks at how China has systematically penetrated European markets for electric cars, solar panels and batteries.

Breaking the dependence on Russian energy raw materials was a painful process for the EU. Despite this experience, the EU is currently developing a similar dependence on China for its green transition.

Jojje Olsson is a journalist focusing on China and East Asia. He moved to Beijing in 2007, and earned a master's degree in journalism from the University of Hong Kong. He has reported from Asia for over 100 Swedish publications, and written six books on China. Since 2016, he lives in Taiwan, where he reports mainly for Expressen and Affärsvärlden. He also runs Kinamedia, Sweden's largest news site and newsletter focusing on China.

The report is available on both English language and Swedish
