Obesity often leads to a range of complications such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and joint and heart problems. Despite this, none of the new effective drugs such as ozempic for the treatment of obesity are subsidized in Sweden. If you want to access that medicine or something similar to try to lose weight by reducing your hunger hormones, you have to finance it yourself.
