58. Can depression be cured with psychedelics?

More and more people are saying yes, probably. David Eberhard invited psychologist and psychedelics expert Filip Bromberg to clarify the state of research. Eating magic mushrooms or using Ayahuasca can probably make you feel better, if you do it in the right way, under very controlled conditions.A research study is currently underway at Karolinska Institutet to investigate whether psilocybin, which is found in magic mushrooms, can help depression patients, and the results seem promising. The research is funded by the Osmond foundation, which includes one of the founders of Klarna, Niklas Adalberth. https://www.osmond-foundation.org
